SERDANG, 8 June 2023 - The Faculty of Forestry and Environment (FHAS) of Universiti Putra Malaysia has received a visit from a delegation from the Faculty of Forestry, Universitas Hasanuddinn (UNHAS) located in the Main Conference Room, Level 1 of Complex B of FHAS.

The ceremony was attended by the FHAS management member, the Dean of FHAS, Prof. Dr. Hazandy Abdul Hamid, Prof. Dr. Latifah Abd Manaf (Deputy Dean of Graduates, Research and International), Prof. Associate Dr. Kamziah Kudus (Deputy Dean of Academics and Alumni), Prof. Associate Dr. Norizah Kamarudin (Head of Forestry Science and Biodiversity Department) and Ts. Dr. Mohd Hafizal Ismail (Head of the Recreation and Ecotourism Department) while four (4) delegates from UNHAS namely Dr. A. Mujetahid M, S.Hut., MP (Dean of the Faculty of Forestry), Dr. Syahidah, S. Hut., M.Si., Ph.D (Deputy Dean of Academic and Student Affairs), Dr. Ir. Astuti, S. Hut., M.Si., IPU (Vice Dean for Partnership, Research and Innovation) and Dr. Ir. A. Sadapotto, M.P (Head of Quality Assurance and Reputation Improvement Group). Also present were FHAS lecturers and staff from the office of the Deputy Dean of Graduate, Research and International FHAS.

The one-and-a-half-hour discussion started at 3.30pm until 5.00pm to discuss the direction of cooperation between UPM-UNHAS as well as open a discussion on the latest issues and developments in academics, research and innovation.
