The Department of Wood and Fiber Industries, Faculty of Forestry and Environment in collaboration with the Malaysian Timber Industry Board (MTIB), Association of Malaysian Bumiputra Timber and Furniture Entrepreneurs (PEKA) and the Malaysian Furniture Council (MFC) have organized a "Seminar of Appreciation IR4.0 for the Malaysian Wood Industry” – in Collaboration with the Erasmus Making 4.0 Project last December 8, 2022. This seminar aims to bring together scientists, academics, researchers, manufacturing students and share experiences on the application of IR4.0 in the timber industry in Malaysia to UPM researchers and students and wood-based industry operators. This seminar was attended by 90 participants including from outside agencies.
