Duration of Study |
A student pursuing Master of Environment may complete the programme within a period of three semesters (1 1/2 year) and a maximum of five semesters (2 1/2 years). |

Admissions Requirements |
The applicant should possess: A Bachelor’s degree in the field or related fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.750 or equivalent, as accepted by the UPM Senate or A Bachelor’s degree in the field or related fields with range CGPA of 2.500 to CGPA 2.749 can be accepted subject to rigorous internal assessment by Faculty/School/Institute or A bachelor’s degree in the field or related fields or equivalent with a range of CGPA 2.000 to CGPA 2.499, can be accepted subject to rigorous internal assessment by Faculty/School/Institute. Candidates without a related qualification in the field/s or working experience in the relevant fields must undergo appropriate prerequisite courses determined by the Faculty/School/Institute and meet the minimum CGPA). |

Programme Requirements |
The requirement for graduation is 40 credits, which covers: 28 credit hours of core courses (including 6 credit hours of Dissertation in Environmental Research) and 12 credit hours of elective courses.

This programme is accredited by the Community for Environmental Disciplines in Higher Education (CEDHE), the education committee of the Institution of Environmental Sciences (IES). CEDHE is the collective voice of the environmental sciences academic community and serves to enhance the quality of environmental education worldwide. A programme accredited by CEDHE is assured to meet high standards, contain a strong component of practical, field and theoretical activities, and has excellent opportunities for training, work experience and links to the professional environmental sector. Students enrolled on CEDHE accredited programmes can apply for free Student Membership of the IES and for a fast-track route to membership once they graduate, starting you on a route towards becoming a Chartered Environmentalist or Chartered Scientist. |
