Forest Management and Ecosystem Sciences

This program focuses on research in forest management and forest ecosystems. Among the studies included in this program are botanical studies, forest ecology, forest management, technology applications in forestry, forest plantations, urban forestry and forest economy. Sustainable forest management concepts and practices such as pest control, forest management, forest operations and engineering, agroforestry, forest ecosystem restoration, forest certification, climate change, forest fires, carbon stocks and carbon emissions are included.
