Wildlife Ecology and Management

This programme focuses on wildlife research ranging from species diversity, behaviour, habitat and spatial requirements, diet, ecological interactions, population genetics to response towards environmental changes including habitat disturbance and climate change, either in natural, manmade habitats or under ex-situ setting. This programme also includes research pertaining to the social and economic aspects of wildlife. This programme is expected to contribute towards enhancement in knowledge and skills particularly wildlife sampling techniques in wildlife research in the tropics for more sustainable management and conservation of wildlife and habitat.
