19 May 2025 - Workshop on Manuscript Preparation for High Impact Journal Publication was held on 19 May 2025 at the Smart Classroom, Kompleks A, Faculty of Forestry and Environment (FHAS), delivered by YBrs. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mohammad Firuz Bin Ramli. A total of 14 students and one lecturer participated in the workshop.
The main objective of this workshop was to enhance and strengthen high-impact journal publication efforts among lecturers—particularly early-career academics—and postgraduate students in the faculty.
The workshop covered the importance of journal publishing, with a specific focus on the structure of a manuscript, including:
- Strategies to improve the chances of manuscript acceptance.
- Understanding the components of a manuscript, including the title, abstract, introduction, materials and methods, results, discussion, and conclusion.
- The dos and don’ts of manuscript writing and submission.
