MALAYAN TAPIR REGIONAL WORKSHOP 2025

The Malayan Tapir Regional Workshop 20205 is an initiative laid by the Malayan Tapir Technical Group members under the Malayan Tapir Conservation Action Plan. It is organized by the Universiti Putra Malaysia, with collaboration from the Department of Wildlife and National Parks (PERHILITAN), Copenhagen Zoo, and Malaysian Nature Society.

The objectives are to share information on Malayan Tapir conservation initiatives in the regional countries, to establish network and collaboration among stakeholders across regional countries, and to identify and prioritize Malayan Tapir regional conservation initiatives.

Interested parties are invited to register and join the workshop that will take place in Terengganu, from 17-19 September 2025.
