Field Class for ASA0104 Food and Agriculture Industry , Centre For Foundation Studies (ASPUTRA)

Puchong – Sultan Idris Shah Forestry Education Centre (SISFEC) has once again been the chosen location for the field class of the subject ASA0104, Agriculture and Food Industry from the Centre For Foundation Studies In Science (ASPUTRA),

Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM).

This practical class was conducted weekly from July to September 2025. This time SISFEC received 20 groups of students consisting of approximately 40 students per group.

In each session, students will be briefed on basic information related to forestry and the importance of the Ayer Hitam Forest Reserve (HSAH) especially to the environment. Next, they are taken through existing teaching trails.

Throughout this practical session, they are exposed to basic information related to flora and fauna
