Aktiviti Kutip Sampah Sambil Riadah (KUDAH), Denai Sungai Kebangsaan Sungai Kuyoh (DSKSK) 2.0

Serdang, Selangor – The KUDAH 2.0 was held at Sungai Kuyoh National River Trail (DSKSK) on 29 October 2022 from 7.30 am to 9.30 am with the communities of Sri Serdang. This activity was organized by NAHRIM together with the Faculty of Forestry and Environment, UPM and Indah Water Konsortium (IWK). This program is an extension of the KUDAH activity at DSKSK which was held on 2^nd July 2022 as a continuous effort to raise awareness and foster enthusiasm among communities in the preservation of the river environment.

NAHRIM’s participation was led by YBrs. Ir. Mohd Zaki bin Mat Amin (Deputy Director General), YBrs. Ir. Ts. Gs. Dr. Safari bin Mat Desa, (Director of the River Basin Research Center) and a member of NAHRIM.  Meanwhile UPM was led by YBrs. Associate Prof. Dr. Kamziah Abd. Kudus (Deputy Dean of Academics and Student Affairs & Alumni), as well as staff and students from Faculty of Forestry and Environment. IWK staff and the local community were also present.

Apart from KUDAH, there were also an activity on demonstration of water quality sampling by NAHRIM’s officer.  This activity is very beneficial for UPM students, especially those with a Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Studies who are really related to the field of their study.
