Bachelor of Forestry Science with Honours (B. Hons. For. Sc.)
The Bachelor of Forestry Science (B. Hons. For. Sc.) is one of the three undergraduate programmes offered at the Faculty of Forestry since 1973. The objective of the programme is to produce graduates who are professionally trained to assess, plan and manage forest resources as well as the implementation of various activities in the forestry sector. The graduates will be equipped with the knowledge and skills together with the use of current technology to efficiently manage forest resources based on the principles of sustainable forest management.

The Bachelor of Wood Science and Technology With Honours (B. Hons. Wood Sc. and Tech.) was introduced in 2006 to meet the critical needs of the timber industry in Malaysia (although courses in wood science and technology have existed since 1971). The objective of this programme is to produce trained manpower in the field of wood processing and manufacturing management, including the use of the latest information and current technology. Specifically, this programme will produce graduates knowledgeable in the management of forest resources, wood-based manufacturing technology and wood materials, as well as competent managers in wood processing and manufacturing.

Bachelor of Environmental Science and Technology With Honours (B. Hons. Env. Sc. & Tech.)
Bachelor of Environmental Science and Technology With Honours is a multi-disciplinary program which covers fundamental sciences, economics, social sciences, management, technology and engineering components. Primary emphasize is given on professional training in which students are required to undergo specific training provided by governmental agencies or private companies to expose them with real world environmental related experiences and practical analysis.
Initially, the program is specifically tailored to meet the Environmental Quality Act (1974) and other similar laws in which most graduates work as environment control officers at the Department of Environment (DOE) under Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment. Nowadays, many graduates are employed as science officers, consultants and researchers not only at governmental agencies such as MACRES, FRIMS, SIRIM, and ASMA, but also at government-linked corporation (GLC) and big name companies such as Shell, ESSO and Petronas. Besides those who are working, a number of qualified graduates continue their studies in Master and PhD program at local universities and overseas. Many graduates also attend KPLI program upon their graduation which prepares them for school-level teaching job.
